I have seen a lot of different workplaces during my professional life and have gained a lot of experience from different cultures.

Some people claim that "Culture eat strategy of breakfast" and I think that is true in many cases. But in an organisation you need both. I have seen companies with no strategy and even if you have a "good" culture there is clearly articulated way to work towards the vision and goals. You need the "right" culture in order have a good fit with the company strategy. If you have a clear vision and SMART goals you can focus on defining a strategy and a culture that enable the employees to work according to the strategy in order to reach the vision and goals.

It is very crucial that allaspects are defined by the entire organisation, because you want to have commitment and engagement when you start to implement the strategy and culture.
